      主要研究方向:

        嗜肺军团菌( Legionella pneumophila )是一种有鞭毛,革兰氏阴性,军团菌属多形态性的短小球杆菌。嗜肺军团菌是一种兼性细胞内致病菌,广泛分布于天然淡水环境或人工水域中,可感染原虫及人巨噬细胞,并在其胞内繁殖和杀死宿主细胞,是引起可致命的急性呼吸道传染病的重要病原体。嗜肺军团菌侵染宿主的主要特点是可以通过其毒力分泌系统, 向宿主细胞内分泌效应蛋白。通过效应蛋白的作用, 嗜肺军团菌能够调节宿主细胞的胞内运输途径, 改变内外环境来伪装自己的吞噬泡, 干扰宿主的细胞周期, 抑制宿主细胞的凋亡, 从而有效逃避宿主细胞的防御功能, 创造出理想的胞内增殖环境,帮助军团菌从宿主细胞中逃逸。

       1)基于分子生物学、生物化学与结构生物学方法研究嗜肺军团菌病原菌与宿主相互作用分子机制,对其毒力分泌系统及其底物效应蛋白的结构与功能进行研究。

      2)阐明嗜肺军团菌的致病机理,通过对效应蛋白与宿主细胞各个调控信号网络的相互作用研究,推进对宿主先天性免疫系统复杂的相互调控网络的理解,为胞内病原菌传染性疾病防治提供新的治疗靶点和新的理论基础。
